Friendships and Fun
CIT's will make lasting friendships through their experience at Camp Kids Klub. The fun begins at our camp training sessions. Our staff gets to know one another while creating games, songs, and activities to use during camp. Training culminates with our overnight training session and surprise field trip! An awesome bonding experience for the entire staff.
We recognize how hard CIT's work to make camp amazing! Every year we treat all CIT's to a trip to Six Flag Magic Mountain late in the summer. CIT's also participate in our fun Staff Appreciation events.
The CIT program offers an experience unlike any other. You have the opportunity to make unique friendships in a one-of-a-kind work environment.
Mentorship and Valuable Experience
Camp Kids Klub offers a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) volunteer program for young adults entering 10th-12th grades. Camp Kids Klub CIT's earn valuable job experience while having a blast.
CIT's will gain meaningful skills throughout the entire summer by completing a job application, participating in the interview process, attending mandatory job skills training, and growing in confidence!
Over the course of the summer CIT's have the opportunity to learn from our professional counselors. They also receive important feedback and support from the Camp Directors.
It is our goal for all CIT's to go on to become counselors with Camp Kids Klub once they graduate high school.
